HOORAY! It seems A does have a solid head on his shoulders! How validating for him to recognize how anxious you have been waiting for his response...also many kudos to him as well for admitting he needed some processing time. This is his subtle way, IMO, of telling you that you may have stumbled onto the truth. I'm so happy to see this!

I am so glad you heard from him! And agreeing with comment above, validating your feelings of anxousness and nerves. I think it is a good step, a very good step.
I also think you may have hit the nail on the head, maybe HE is facing some very large and unknown issues here.

Oh, Possum! I just read your last couple posts. You wrote a very good letter to A. It unfortunately was your place to share the info with him and you did a very nice job of it. And YES his reply does sound good. HUGS to you, waving and singing and rocking and all....

I would take this as good news. At least he acknowledged your email and is telling you he wants to formulate a response. He will get back to you...all good responses on his part. Its still a "wait and see" regarding his response, but at least you know one is coming.
Hang in there Possum! I think it will be about a month before you hear anymore and if I didn't hear anything then, I'd followup with another email (as much as I'd like to just go up to the door and knock!).

Gosh, I got goosebumps reading this. The man has empathy oozing out of every word - what a beautiful soul.
I am so happy that you are finally being heard, and he is there to listen and ANSWER. Not to mention he is being honest about his need to think....either for himself to process - or to find out other information to help you.
Either way, it all sounds very promising.
I'm glad you didn't have to worry about this all weekend too. He is very thoughtful.. just like you!
